Grass!

Anne came running into my room this morning yelling, "There's grass outside, I see grass!" And everyone went running to the window to see it too. I laughed because I don't ever remember yelling "Grass" when I was a child, I remember yelling "Snow!"

Funny! Out here I find myself running to the window and saying "Blue sky! Blue sky!"

I brought forsythia and some of the branches I trimmed off the plum tree into the house to force them to bloom. I've done that twice and it makes me realize that I am hungry for spring. I don't want to rush it though...my life is sliding by at a fast enough pace as it is.

Our older son, Scott and wife Ashley are expecting their 4th child in Sept. The race continues!
If my Mother is well enough for us to leave her for a week; we plan to fly to Springdale AR to visit them, Greg Lentz and possibly see Josh Meals. We'll see what the Lord has planned.

I am looking forward to my younger sister arriving from NJ tomorrow to spend some time.I will be glad to see herfor moe than one reason. I didn't realize how hard it would be to be a 24/7 caregiver. With Joni here; maybe I'll take a few naps.

We miss you guys! Say hi to all the kids and hug each other for us.

Grass! How histarical! I love it. Thank you for updating. I truley feel like we have visited you when I get to see and hear what you all are up to. Yuck on the sick since Dec. Sarah is fighting something and now with 4 kids in the house we are learning to share so well; germs that is. Have a great week! I think Jan looks a bit like Katra in the last picture. -Becky
